Listed as one of the best Fuji recipes, Nomadic Mood is an all-in-one film simulation recipe for Fujifilm X-Trans IV for all types of travel photography including landscape, street photography, and night photography.

This film simulation recipe for travel was created while I was having my holiday in Georgetown, a UNESCO heritage site in Malaysia, and a recent road trip to a popular tourist attraction in the highlands for some landscape shots.

This recipe is created using the Classic Negative film simulation, which is one of the best film simulations for landscapes. All the SOOC images are shot using either Aperture Priority or manual settings depending on the light condition.

This recipe’s grain effect is increased to achieve the vintage film look. As this recipe is created for the latest X-Trans IV sensors, the Kodachrome Film Classic is created as an alternative for Classic Chrome users.

  1. Thanks for the Nomadic recipe for X-T4! However I was confused by the last two bits:

    ISO: Auto – 6400
    Exposure Compensation -1/3 to +1/3

There is nowhere to enter these while editing on x-T4. Is that an error? Or am I missing something?

    Thanks,
    Scot

  2. Would be nice to have something similar for the x-trans 1 sensor … (as far as that is possible anyway) would love to have it on my x-e1 or x-m1.
