Unboxing a K-Pop vinyl is more than just peeling plastic—it’s a full-on fan experience. This TWICE Strategy LP isn’t just rare; it’s beautifully packed and full of surprises. If you’re wondering what’s inside, how it sounds, or if it’s worth grabbing, you’re in the right place. Let’s crack it open and take a closer look.
Guess what? I’m officially ONCE! TWICE’s 14th mini album, Strategy, came with a gorgeous vinyl version. It’s called the Sugar Frost Vinyl, and it’s only sold in the U.S. As someone who has just officially turned to a Twice fan, I was beyond excited. But I quickly learned how tough it is to buy TWICE Strategy LP vinyl, especially if you’re living in Malaysia. This is how it went down—from the hype to the heartbreak—and why this album means a lot to fans like me.
I’ve been listening to TWICE a lot lately—their songs lift my mood and keep things upbeat instead of bringing me down. There’s nothing wrong with a guy like me enjoying TWICE’s catchy songs, plus the members are gorgeous—they’re fun, feel-good, and hard not to love.
The Strategy Sugar Frost vinyl is easily one of the nicest-looking records in my whole collection. It’s packed with goodies that make it feel like a full collector’s set. The vinyl itself is a 12″ Sugar Frost pressing, which sounds as sweet as it looks. It comes in a gatefold jacket with exclusive cover art. Inside, you’ll find a printed inner sleeve, a folded 12″ x 24″ poster, a photo card, and even a turntable slipmat. It also includes 7 tracks from the album.
Here’s the catch—it’s only available in the U.S. There’s no international shipping, not even to Asia. I tried to place an order directly through TWICE’s official U.S. shop and Republic Records Shop. Everything looked good until I reached payment. Rejected. It failed multiple times.
I retried with different cards, addresses, and browsers. Still nothing. I didn’t give up there—I also tried ordering from Target, since they had it listed. But even that didn’t work as it required U.S addresses, and I couldn’t complete the checkout. No matter what method I used, the result was the same: I couldn’t buy it.
This isn’t my first time dealing with limited TWICE vinyl. I already have the #Twice3 vinyl, IM NAYEON solo LP & Tzuyu Runaway Limited Edition LP, which took some effort to get. That was my first Twice vinyl, and this Strategy release was supposed to be my second. But unlike other artists, TWICE doesn’t release their vinyl worldwide.
Pressings are not limited, and they will restock on the Twice official shop. It also seems like there aren’t many ONCE out there collecting vinyl, especially not in Malaysia. I might even be the first here trying to collect their vinyl albums? It’s a niche within a niche.
After some time, the TWICE vinyl usually shows up on Amazon US or other international K-pop shops. You might have to pay a bit more, but if it feels worth it, go for it. Just take some time to do a quick search and compare prices online.

To fellow TWICE fans—if you’re starting to collect their vinyl, here’s a quick tip: avoid playing them on a cheap suitcase record player. They might look cute, but most of them have poor sound quality and heavy tracking force that can wear down your records faster than you think. Vinyl is a physical format, and the wrong setup can actually damage those limited pressings over time.
Instead, invest in a proper turntable. Even an entry-level model from Audio-Technica, like their Bluetooth turntables, will treat your records with care and give you way better sound. You don’t need to go all out with a high-end setup right away—just something reliable that won’t wreck your collection. Think of it as protecting your investment and getting the best listening experience possible.
TWICE’s Strategy vinyl isn’t easy to buy in Asian countries. It’s limited, U.S.-only, and completely out of reach for most international fans. But that’s not stopping me. I’m officially ONCE now, and collecting vinyl is how I show my love for the group. If you’re a fellow ONCE in Malaysia—or anywhere else outside the U.S.—and you’re collecting vinyl too, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s build this small but passionate corner of the fandom together.
I’m also really looking forward to TWICE’s upcoming 4th studio album, This Is For, set to release on July 11, 2025. Fingers crossed we’ll get to see them live during their Asia tour. Hopefully, they include stops in Singapore or Malaysia. That would be the perfect way to experience this new era with fellow ONCE.
I’d be so happy if that happens—it would be my very first TWICE concert! Seeing them live after collecting their vinyl and following their music would make it all even more special.
The TWICE Strategy LP usually includes the vinyl record, a printed inner sleeve, exclusive photo cards, and sometimes a folded poster depending on the edition.
Yes, this edition is limited and harder to find outside of Korea. Some versions were released exclusively through fan events or official stores.
Vinyl gives a warmer, more textured sound. Fans say the TWICE LP has a smoother low-end and slightly richer vocals than streaming versions.
You can find it on platforms like iMusic, eBay, Amazon, or K-pop specialty shops. Be sure to check if it’s sealed and includes all original extras.
Absolutely. It’s a great pick for collectors thanks to its packaging, rarity, and high resale value among ONCEs.
